JAN BOSHOFF~WOLF IN SHEEP’S CLOTHING TAKE NOTE: This report was originally sent out as a letter. It has since been slightly revised. Please see the addendum starting at 4/22/11 near the bottom of this report for a continuation of this man’s lies & his false representation of the true and Living God.
Please bear in mind what is written: 1 Timothy 6:12–Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Jude 3–Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
After seeking the Lord for clarity & discernment concerning many statements that Jan Boshoff has made, whether thru youtube, blogtv or in comments & emails, the Holy Spirit guided me to write this letter. I am not really interested in spending much time w/ youtube videos, but I do believe that the Holy Spirit directed me to pay attention to this situation. I have had this letter for awhile & asked the Holy Spirit for His timing in it’s release. So here I will share just some of my observations although if I were to address them all, I would have to write a booklet! Keep an open mind & ask the Holy Spirit for discernment & truth & be willing to hold the love of the truth above all in your life. Yes, it is scriptural to spot those who are not speaking the truth, but rather mixture instead, & yes, it is scriptural to name names.
First my red flags went up w/ a statement of Jan’s & then I noticed that more misleading/confusing statements were made. Then the Lord guided me in a clear way, thru His Word & His Holy Spirit, putting the pieces of the puzzle together. He reminded me of a prophecy that I had read before, then directed me to reread Stanley Frodsham’s prophetic word of 1965. Please go to the site & read the whole prophetic word. But first, here is an important excerpt.

Therefore, I say that you should not give your hearts to men, nor hold people’s persons in admiration. For by these very persons shall Satan enter into My people. WATCH FOR SEDUCERS. Do you think a seducer will brandish a new heresy and flaunt it before the people? He will speak the words of righteousness and truth, and will appear as a minister of light, declaring the Word. This that he has now spoken we do not see in the Word, but it must be right, for the other things he spoke were true.”
Be not deceived. For the deceiver will first work to gain the hearts of many, and then shall bring forth his insidious doctrines. You cannot discern those who are of Me and those who are not of Me when they start to preach. But seek Me constantly, and then when these doctrines are brought out you shall have a witness in your heart that these are not of Me. Fear not, for I have warned you. Many will be deceived. But if you walk in holiness and uprightness before the Lord, your eyes shall be open and the Lord will protect you. If you will constantly look unto the Lord you will know when the doctrine changes, and will not be brought into it. If your heart is right I will keep you; and if you will look constantly to Me I will uphold you.
The minister of righteousness shall be on this wise — his life shall agree with the Word, and his lips shall give forth that which is wholly true, and it will be no mixture. When the mixture appears then you will know he is not a minister of righteousness. The deceivers speak first the truth and then error, to cover their own sins which they love. Therefore I exhort and command you to study the Scriptures relative to seducing spirits, for this is one of the great dangers of these last days.
I desire you to be firmly established in My Word and not in the personalities of men, that you will not be moved as so many shall be moved. I would keep you in the paths of righteousness. Take heed to yourselves and follow not the seducing spirits that are already manifesting themselves. Diligently inquire of Me when you hear something that you have not seen in the Word, and do not hold people’s persons in admiration, for it is by this very method that Satan will hold many of My people.”
Now, as I wrote in the beginning, if I were to take each point that Jan said on his videos that contained a mixture or things said that were not in agreement w/ the Living God or His Word & the truth, as God sees truth, you would have here a booklet, so I’m just going to give you some examples. As well, there are so many verses in the Bible that would refute this man’s words, that it would take quite an essay to present them all to you! You can ask the Holy Spirit to direct you to the truth & the wisdom needed regarding this matter.
Jan likes to use ‘blanket’ statements often in his videos. For instance, he will seemingly condemn ALL believers who read the Bible. This kind of thinking & talking is dysfunctional & is called ‘generalizing’.
In one video he talks about how he prays in tongues & then in another video, when asked about the gifts, he denies them by saying there are no gifts, only one gift, (Jesus Christ). Do you see the instability & vacillation here? So what does 1 Cor. chapters 12, 13, & 14 mean in reference to all the gifts? 1 Cor. 12:7–But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 1 Cor. 12:11–But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as He will.
Jan said in
one of his videos that you don’t need to know the Bible & also talked about how many people in the past did not have a Bible & they knew Jesus. Doesn’t Jan know anything about history & what torment, ignorance, persecutions, tyranny, etc. that those medieval & dark ages caused those poor people b/c there was NO BIBLE?!

In the late 1300’s, the secret society of Culdees chose John Wycliffe to lead the world out of the Dark Ages. Wycliffe has been called the “Morning Star of the Reformation”. That Protestant Reformation was about one thing: getting the Word of God back into the hands of the masses in their own native language, so that the corrupt church would be exposed and the message of salvation in Christ alone, by scripture alone, through faith alone would be proclaimed again.
Check the videos out & see how he subtly puts confusion & doubt into people. Jan has also taken certain videos off of youtube and why is that, ummmm, perhaps to cover his back?! Jan stated that the Pharisees killed Jesus b/c He was not biblical! First of all, Jesus agrees w/ His Word & 2nd of all, no one killed Him except they were allowed by God—Jesus laid down His life & gave up His spirit. Jan stated that you don’t need to read the bible & if you’re based on scripture, you’ll gonna fall. Think about that!
What about all of our forefathers who loved & kept the Bible hidden in their homes or in other places & kept the words that God spoke to them from the Bible in their hearts, yet were martyred for believing & acting on what they read!!! Yet this man demeans the very Word of God! This is very serious!
In 1 John 1:10– If we say that we 1have anot sinned, we make Him a bliar, and His 2cword is not in us. What does this mean, since Jan continues to say that he does not sin! 101 Verse 8 proves that after our regeneration we still have sin inwardly. Verse 10 proves further that we even still sin outwardly, though not habitually. We still sin outwardly in our conduct because we still have sin inwardly in our nature. Both confirm our sinful condition after regeneration. In speaking of such a condition, the apostle used the pronoun we, not excluding himself. (taken from the New Testament Recovery Version)
Once again, you can see here that Jan is sinning by his past & present declarations concerning the Bible & his statements about ‘not sinning’ & Jesus Christ & the Word of God! If Jan is not sinning, then he has nothing to repent of. He has no godly sorrow to soften his heart & draw him to repentance. 2 Cor. 7:10–For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. Rom. 6:14–For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS IS SIN. ~1 John 5:17a~
Do you see the deception here? Then how can there be any cleansing & refreshing? How can there be any anointing & peace? That is something that I also noticed concerning Jan~there’s no anointing or peace flowing thru this man. So are we to conclude that Jan’s every manipulative, intimidating, confusing statement is righteous & not unrighteous? Statements are made not only regarding those who are in the Laodicean Church but to many others. Are they from the Spirit of God? Are they in the right spirit?
1 John 2:1– My little children, these things I write to you that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous;
14 Aorist subjunctive, denoting a single act, not habitual action.
In a video Jan said that we do not go & look in the pages of this book (Bible) for a word from God. But people do hear from the Holy Spirit as they are prayerfully seeking God & reading. The apostles did have the scriptures & they did not just have the Lord alone. They also had God’s gifts. It is not true that the Word only goes to the head of everyone & kills you. Another one of Jan’s blanket statements, which is a dysfunctional way of thinking!
In the video, The Imperfection of Scripture, Jan gave a prophecy that he received on March 15, 2009 in a dream. He said that there was a warning given for South Africa regarding floods & that South Africa was to repent, but this prophecy did not come to pass. Jer. 14:14–Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart. 2 Cor. 11:14-15–And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. Here are some more titles that do not revere the Lord or His Word. The Bible deceives Christians, The Bible has replaced Jesus, the Word of God, We are not to be Based on the Bible. In several videos, Jan prides himself on not offering to pray for someone when they ask for prayer, BUT NOW he says he will pray to be guided by the Spirit in praying for someone. See saw, See saw.
Here’s some more titles for you to think about: Satan’s favorite: Bible Study, You Don’t Need a Bible My Friends, Dangerous Bible Study, Stop Quoting the Bible, (Jan had better stop quoting the Bible) You Need the Holy Spirit, Not the Holy Bible (YOU NEED BOTH!) The Bible is the Truth-Believe it. (WHAT?!) The Bible Deception, We are Not to be Biblical, Our Faith is Not to be Based on the Bible, Biggest Christian Lie-the Bible is the Word of God. In this video, here Jan makes a another blanket statement~”They worship the Bible, but they don’t obey the Bible.” ummmmm EVERYONE?! & too many others to list. In one of the videos, Jan says, “Just put your Bible on a shelf & Jesus will tell you when to pick it up again.” BIG RED FLAG! Jan also said “True Christians do not sin. If you sin, you are not a Christian.” (GENERAL STATEMENT) 1 John 1:7-10 In the video, The Bible is Not the Word of God, Jan says that the Bible is written by men like us (demeaning the Bible). He uses the verse about Jesus knocking at the door, but not as though it was written in Rev. 3:20 & not as though it was written about Christians, but instead, the unsaved. In this video he repeatedly calls the Holy Scriptures the Faithful Witness! (BUT WAIT, I THOUGHT HE SAID WE WERE NOT TO READ THE BIBLE!) And one of his titles is Bible Study to Gain Insight. But wait, I thought Jan said that Bible Study was Dangerous!!! These are not all the titles & messages where I found error & confusion & we know that confusion is not of God. Here’s a good one for you: Jan said that Satan used the scriptures to start an argument w/ Jesus after He had fasted for 40 days, then Jesus used the scriptures to answer Satan three times w/ “it is written”. After declaring that the Bible is not the Word of God, Jan clearly says that Satan wants you into CD’s & videos, teachings of people & into the WORD. (meaning the Bible!) In one of Jan’s videos, he says “you can throw out 70% of the Bible”! Which Jesus would say, “you don’t need the Bible” or “you can throw out 70% of the Bible” as well as many of Jan’s statements?
In a video entitled AMERICA HAS NO CHRISTIANS, Jan declared that this message was given to him by the LORD to deliver to the people in AMERICA! This is a very serious accusation against the LORD, saying that HE said “there are NO Christians in America.” Of coure, Jan has REMOVED this video from youtube!!! BUT WAIT…IF THIS WAS A MESSAGE FROM THE LORD, WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO REMOVE IT?!! Ummmmmmmm
Jeremiah 23:20-26–The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.
21I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.

2 Tim. 4:2–Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
Mark 12:24–And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?
Rom. 15:4–For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
John 7:38–He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
On a video title, you’ll see this one. “Where is it written-it’s got to be in scripture?” There are many vss. telling us to observe & hear all the words of the Lord God. Here’s another confusing title: “You have No Guarantee of Salvation” (No I do not believe in the false doctrine of once saved, always saved) One of Jan’s video titles is “It’s Not Biblical”. Here’s another lying title: “Biggest Christian Lie-the Bible is the Word of God.” On one of Jan’s videos, he says I’m not saved yet, then he questions the ones watching his video, how many souls did YOU SAVE TODAY? (intimidation & manipulation & contradictory)
Jesus said in John 17:17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. Jesus Christ’s words are ABOVE ALL OF US & that includes one called JAN BOSHOFF! If Jan spent his time seeking the Living God while he was reading the inspired words of the Lord, his mind wouldn’t be twisted, confused & lying. He would have living water flowing out of his spirit!

“Moving on: Truth and the word of God (contained in written form called the scriptures) are one and the same according to John. The converted men of Berea were well aware of this when the apostles brought forth the word from the holy writings in Acts. Bearing in mind, the words and warning from the Lord Jesus to His followers, in allowing no man to deceive them. “Let no man deceive you”, was a warning from above. Meaning, no man was exempt from being deceived. Remember, even Peter’s good intentions to Jesus before the cross had to be tested and came out as being from Satan.
Let no man deceive you … whether saint or stranger, brother or outsider, “qualified” or unqualified. Every doctrine, statement, claim, verbal or written conveyance or expression (whether from friend or foe) and angelic visitation, had to be judged besides God’s recorded word … the scriptures! The scriptures were and are to be the believers final authority in all that attains to faith, revelation, application and practice. Not even an explained verbal voice, spirit, or even the Holy Ghost can be the final source for decision making on doctrine, righteous judgement, and divine guidance. Reason, the precious Holy Ghost sent from above, was sent for the very reason of backing the word, publishing and manifesting it, as well as empowering the believer to witness to this fact.”
Also, true brothers or sisters handle comments w/ humility, not pride or irrelevant answers & false accusations, etc. From my own experience & the experiences of many others, this is precisely what has happened.
2 Thes. 2:10–And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. I have had enough of watching Jan plant in others his confusion & doubts. There is a power that goes out to the listeners who are ‘following’ false teachers. The people can somehow be ‘kept under’ or feel as tho they are being pulled along & not even be able to stop watching the videos. I, for one, will not follow a man or woman or ministry whether they are called out of Babylon or not! Being called out of the Babylonish church system is not the ‘be all & end all’, it may only be the beginning. Also there are those who are not a part of the church system but at the same time, they are not a part of the Lord’s Body either.
The Spirit of Truth is vital to our walk in the Lord! Have you noticed how Jan doesn’t focus on the TRUTH?! Well, this letter is about speaking the truth. Ephes. 4:15–But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.
John 14:16-17–16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
John 15:26–But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.
John 16:13–Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
Following are some notes from “The Spirit of Truth” by Jesse Penn-Lewis: “Truth is the groundwork; love & power can both be simulated by the evil one as an angel of light. God is first of all, Truth. Truth may be described as “seeing things as God sees them”, for this alone is truth. That walking in truth was the supreme condition for the ungrieved presence of the Spirit of God is shown by the sharp judgment of the Spirit of Truth thru Peter upon Ananias & Sapphira. Ananias just sought to appear what he was not & it was his wife who told the bald untruth. Peter laid bare the truth with knife-power incisiveness & terse, clear words describing the action as it was in the sight of the God of Truth. This Spirit of Truth is what the Body of Christ needs so as to see the condition of men, the work of Satan & the holiness of God. The keen knife-like power in dealing w/ all that is contrary to truth is the supreme mark that the Spirit of Truth possesses & controls believers in His fullest power. Gal. 2:5–To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you. Gal. 2:11–But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed. Truth recognises Truth in another, as “like” recognises & is joined w/ “like”. “Views of truth”…may vary according to the age & growth of believers; but the Spirit of Truth in a believer cannot but recognise & unite w/ the same Spirit of Truth in another. Truth is Truth & Truth will conquer all things opposed to it. It will command recognition by the co-witness of the Spirit of Truth. A man’s conscience acknowledges truth. It needs no argument; no defence; no upholding. It requires only witnesses –God will do the rest! Let the Spirit of Truth, then, lead us into all truth, by revealing truth, by our desiring truth, by our obedience to truth, by our walking in the truth, & speaking the truth, until the Spirit of Truth so breathes thru us that He can convict & reveal truth to others seeking the light of truth.” End of notes.
The Lord bought us~ so we could be set free, to be his loving bondservants, serving Him & serving others w/ agape love & w/ truth, trusting in what He’s spoken to us thru His inspired word as well as thru situations & circumstances & His voice, his movements & restraints within. We simply call the Bible the Word b/c the words are inspired by God’s Holy Spirit & b/c the rhema words of the Lord do speak to us as we are reading it, whether the OT or the NT, & as the words are recalled to us, whether in prayer or just going about our day! Because we are seekers from our hearts, we are looking to Him for His guidance & direction & those are His rhema words. And is not the Lord speaking to us thru the OT as well as thru the NT? Are they not His uttered words written down for us? There are almost 1,000 vss. from the OT that are included in the NT.
Rhema means “the Lord’s utterance/saying remains forever” or another way of saying it is “the word of the Lord endureth for ever”.
I love the word of the Lord whether it is RHEMA OR LOGOS! I love the words that were spoken and written down for our admonition and for examples.
THE FOLLOWING WAS TAKEN FROM:

“Among the six items of God’s armor [vv. 13-17], this is the
only one for attacking the enemy. The Word of God is also a
sword. The sword is the Spirit, and the Spirit is the Word.
Here we have three that are one: the sword, the Spirit, and
the Word. The Word is the Bible. But if this Word is only
printed letters, it is neither the Spirit nor the sword. The
Greek for word in verse 17 is rhema, the instant word spoken
at the moment by the Spirit in any situation. When the logos,
the constant word in the Bible, becomes the instant rhema,
this rhema will be the Spirit.
In our Christian experience, the Word and the Spirit must
always be one. It is an utter falsehood to say that we take
the Spirit without taking the Word. Without taking the Word,
we cannot have the Spirit. In my experience, I receive the
Spirit mostly through the Word. As I contact the Word in a
living way, it becomes the Spirit to me. However, some take
the Bible without the Spirit. This also is wrong. Those who
wish to grow flowers need both the seeds and the life
contained in the seeds. It is impossible to separate the life
within the seeds from the seeds themselves. In order to have
the life, we must take the seeds. The relationship between
the Word and the Spirit is like that between the seeds and
the life. We must have both.”
1 Cor. 10:11- -Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. So we are admonished time & again to take heed, to hearken to His words, to revere them, to obey them, i.e. His Rhema & His Logos words. So one minute, Jan is telling people to just read the 4 gospels & before you know it he’s quoting or reading a verse from the OT, This equals CONFUSION!!!
In another video, Jan exclaimed that if you are guided by Jesus, you won’t have to look into “which scripture is that now?” In another one of his presentations, he boldly & angrily declares that you should BURN YOUR BOOKS!!! Now there’s a RED FLAG if ever I saw one!!! So, it looks like the enemy wants to steer people away from reading books, such as were written by John Bunyan, Jesse Penn-Lewis, Leonard Ravenhill, David Wilkerson, Paris Reidhead, Carter Conlon, T. Austin-Sparks, “The Pursuit of God” & “The Knowledge of the Holy” by A. W. Tozer, The Christian in Complete Armor by Wm. Gurnall, Martyrs Mirror, The Two Babylons by A. Hislop, Pilgrim’s Progress, & many true accounts of saints, past & present who have suffered in the Lord w/ persecutions, & the like. You might be awakened by the Holy Spirit as you consider the soundness of the words written by men & women of God who were sound & stable in their faith; those who revered the Bible, that we call the Word of God b/c it was inspired by the very Word of God!
Yes, it’s a good thing to examine ourselves & see if we are in the faith, but then when the Holy Spirit shows us by His ways & His witness that we are His, then we need to walk in that way w/ Him & not doubt! Yes, it is a good thing to have the Lord search our hearts & that will never cease, but at the same time, we need to be aware that He is doing thus b/c of His personal, great, deep love for each of us who are truly in Him. We cannot afford to be in anxieties & improper fears regarding the Lord, & especially not in this day & hour w/ the dark days ready to be upon us. Rather we are to be in love w/ Him & continually let Him draw us into the communion for which He died.
I want to tell you that I’ve heard all the tactics that Jan has pulled so far. They are NOTHING NEW. His story begs for your admiration, too. As much as I love to hear the voice of the Lord in any way that He chooses, there is a danger in the emphasis of Jan’s constant statements regarding the voice of the Lord b/c here’s where one could be connected to another Jesus, another spirit, & another gospel.
2 Cor. 11:4–For [you seem readily to endure it] if a man comes and preaches another Jesus than the One we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the [Spirit] you [once] received or a different gospel from the one you [then] received and welcomed; you tolerate [all that] well enough!
Of course, Jan appears to be doing what’s right, but the right is mixed w/ the wrong & in that way, souls stray from the narrow way. He also has moods that swing back & forth. One day he’s very sad & morose & then on another day he’s ‘up’.
Those who DO righteousness are righteous. Well, isn’t he doing right?, you might ask. NO, b/c he has spoken unrighteousness regarding the Bible & the words of the Holy Spirit & Christians, many times over, causing confusion, which we know is not of God. Thereby he is planting seeds of doubt in God’s true children or anyone who’s listening!
People can leave everyone & everything behind & go to another land as Jan & his wife have done, & STILL be off the mark, off the track & off the narrow way! This is not the first time that this has happened & it won’t be the last time that someone does this, only to turn out to be a false leader, whether known by them or not. Still, the truth remains that he has deceived people & he will continue to do so.
You say, well, he speaks of Jesus, mercy, fear of the Lord, listening for His voice, etc. It all sounds good & right. BUT it is mixed in with many other subtle & not so subtle words regarding the negative connotations about the Bible, without explanations of what he means, & never an apology to anyone about his many, specific mistakes which are anti-Word of God! That is b/c what he says, he means! Many of his video titles alone are misleading!
Of course, you’re not going to perceive everything as it truly is from the beginning of your watching or listening to someone, or you wouldn’t be where you are right now, but it is the mixture that is the danger. Ps. 25:4-5-Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou [art] the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. See how important it is to love the truth w/ this verse: 2 Thes. 2:10–And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
Ask yourself why do you & several of the others end your messages w/ “May Jesus bless you.” Could you not come up w/ anything original? There are hundreds of ways to send greetings & blessings to others, yet many of you are locked into this one that Jan uses!
And as far as judging others~are we to judge others? Absolutely!
John 7:24–Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
And we are to judge ourselves & when we don’t, God judges us before others.
In a video he talked about how he goes out w/ his printed tee shirts & made a remark towards others as though, they too, should do the same. Let’s see now, the disciples never had anything written on their clothes, yet they turned the world upside down in a short period of time! One day Jan doesn’t seem sure if he’s saved or if he’s gonna make it, then the next time, he’s sure he’s gonna make it by the grace of God!
Remember–Jesus Himself, quoted the scriptures many times over! Quotes following are taken from “The Pursuit of God” by A. W. Tozer~~”The Bible is the inevitable outcome of God’s continuous speech. It is the infallible declaration of His mind for us put into our familiar human words…a word of God once spoken continues to be spoken…If you would follow on to know the Lord, come at once to the open Bible expecting it to speak to you. Do not come with the notion that it is a thing which you may push around at your convenience. It is more than a thing; it is a voice, a word, the very Word of the Living God.” I’ll take this quote over anything that Jan has spoken.
Mark 12:24–And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?
Rom. 15:4–For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
BTW, here’s the verse that Jan quoted many times in the comment sections regarding his bald head & cut beard.
Jer. 48:37–For every head [shall be] bald, and every beard clipped:uhh, that’s part a–he quoted this reference but neglected to finish the verse. Here’s the whole verse: “For every head shall be bald, and every beard clipped: upon all the hands shall be cuttings, and upon the loins sackcloth.” Where are the hand cuttings & where is the sackcloth???!!! Jeremiah pronounced the Almighty’s judgment upon Moab: every head shall be bald, every beard clipped, with sackcloth on the loins, Jeremiah 48:37.

Baldness disqualified any one for the priest’s office- Lev. 21. “Cutting off the hair” is a figure of the entire destruction of a people Isa. 7:20.
In the Fausset commentary, it says that to cut one’s hair off is the greatest mark of sorrow & mortification. But I thought Jan said that it was b/c THIS IS THE YEAR OF JUDGEMENT or PUNISHMENT! Perhaps this is the year of judgment for him!!!

Their sorrow shall be so very extreme that they shall make themselves bald and cut themselves (v. 37), which were expressions of a desperate grief, such as tempted men to be even their own destroyers.” NOTHING here about the YEAR of JUDGEMENT!

HOW CAN ALL OF THIS BE?! He is presenting Jesus & talks about seeking Jesus?! Simply b/c Satan transforms himself into an angel (minister, messenger) of LIGHT! Recently, we see Jan seeming to return to the scriptures; this is just one more tactic of the enemy. See-saw, see-saw, enough to keep the listeners off balance!
Did you take notice that Jan rarely ever refers to the saving, living, delivering, redeeming, precious, reconciling, sanctifying, BLOOD of Christ?! ummmmm Why is that?! The enemy hates the Blood of Christ!!! The enemy knows that all that we obtain, live in, & look to, dwells in the very Blood sacrifice of our Savior. Our very life depends on the Blood that Jesus shed for us in torment, torture, pain, & agony. Our very victory is thru the Blood of Jesus.

This letter has nothing to do w/ talking about a brother or a sister, NO, this is a warning. Take heed & bring these issues to the Living God & let the Spirit of Truth guide you by HIS SPIRIT AND HIS WORD. THE TWO OF THEM MUST GO TOGETHER & AGREE. We do not take one without the other. Beware, those who are caught in their tricks love to falsely accuse those who love, speak, & write the truth.
I have prayed & will continue to pray for you, that you might choose to receive the love of the truth, which is different from knowing the truth, we must have a LOVE of the truth. If you are willing to overlook discrepancies or make excuses for one who is gravely off the mark, then perhaps you could ask yourself if you have a love of the truth. If not, beseech the Lord for a love of the truth so that in the future you will more readily discern the wolves & their deceptions, & not be devoured. Those who have eyes to see & ears to hear will receive the truth & be built up in the Body of Christ, which is God’s will.
Take a trip w/ your Savior & examine the messages that Jan delivered to you or to others in the past, in the light of the word of God & in the love of the truth w/ the Spirit of Truth & then come before the Living God w/ an honest heart. There is much to learn thru this experience & your love will deepen for the Lord as you see Him awaken you by His mercy & grace.
Yes, our Lord is battling for us in the spirit realm, & He will enter your battle w/ you, but we must be aware of the battle & co-operate w/ Him. There will always more to be discerned & written for this wolf, but I think this is enough for now. This letter is by no means a conclusive report regarding Jan Boshoff.
May God, in His goodness & Great Love awaken you. Exposing someone does not mean that I am sending persecution their way. Rather, it has to do w/ waking up & sparing the precious flock of our Lord & building up the Body of Christ.

MORE BLANKET STATEMENTS–”if you’re serious, He’s gonna beat you up”, yes, God does chastise us, but He also leads us to repentance w/ His goodness–Rom. 2:4–Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
Another blanket statement–”He’s gonna make you sick.” This is a lie! God deals w/ each individual in a unique way, but HE DOES NOT MAKE YOU SICK. We have plenty of our own fallen world & self-life & Satan’s kingdom to thank for that! Let’s see what the Word of God says regarding this issue of sickness. I can only say what the Bible says. I see that in Dt. 29:22 it speaks of sickness, but it was put upon the LAND. In Isa. 38 Hezekiah recalls his thoughts of the Lord while he was sick & he says “He will cut me off w/ pining sickness” but these are the thoughts that he had while he was sick, before the Lord God lengthened his life.
In Micah 6:12-16–you see that the Lord smited those who were the rich men & full of violence & in smiting them, they were made sick (to be rubbed or worn, to be weak, sick, afflicted, to grieve, to stroke, etc.)
Third, I see that nowhere, whether in the OT or the NT is there any indication that God caused sickness, but we see plenty of places where God heals & takes away sickness, also that He makes our bed in sickness & He even lengthened Hezekiah’s life.
And think about this, when Jan was talking about the Lord dealing with him severely he thought that the Lord hated him, because he said to Him, “Lord, you hate me.” Excuse me, but this was not the testimony of a man who knew the true God. Ask yourself, why did he ask God that question? 1 John 4:16–And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
How about this–after all the negative and confusing statements regarding the Bible, he tells a story of how he heard this guidance in his mind~ “Rom. 5:3″ and he went to read it and it spoke to him!? This is clearly contradictory of his many past negative statements regarding peope who ask the Lord for something and then find it in the Word! As for Jan’s mocking about ‘how can anyone feel God’s Spirit’ I say that whenever you are aware that you are one with His Spirit, you are surely experiencing His Spirit, whether it be of joy, peace, love, conviction, sorrow, wisdom, understanding, strength, etc.

After all the idle talk that Jan has spoken, and his derogatory remarks in reference to the “Word of God”, now he says that God does not tolerate idle talk and that every word has got to be holy, like the Word of God. Also, he says concerning the people who did not listen to God~”it is written, you had my Word, why didn’t you listen?” These statements are contradictions, to say the least.
Jan Boshoff made another BLANKET statement about America. He boldly stated: “God has given me a message that I deliver with fear and trembling. America has NO Christians, no disciples of Jesus Christ.” Any true believer knows that the majority of professing Christians anywhere in the world are not born of God’s Spirit according to His Word. There’s the warning of the narrow way & the many who are on the broad way. There is the story of the Sower and the seed and many more warnings thruout the Bible. However, there truly are true lovers and followers of the Lord Jesus Christ in America and the Lord God knows who they are! Of course the true Christians believe in holiness and know that holiness can only be built within them thru the Lord and our cooperation. Jan is planting doubt amongst believers and raises questions about who he really is, coming from South Africa and making general statements regarding America!
He also stated that God is taking people away and that he recently said to his listeners, “the best of us might not be here tonight or tomorrow and you know what, my words were hardly spoken and David Wilkerson was no more.” The statement that Jan made about people possibly not being here is one that he makes quite often, but here he attributes his statement regarding David Wilkerson to the Spirit of God speaking thru him. He also commented on people who have heroes of faith. There will always be those who look up to leaders, but to appreciate the Spirit of God that has flowed thru David Wilkerson for many years is not the same as having a hero in the faith with a wrong spirit. Remember, this man’s strategy is the mixture, which God hates. There is no anointing flowing thru this man and it is the anointing that breaks the yokes.
In another video, (5/1/11) Jan says that we must remember, “I am a child of God” but in other videos he’s not sure he’s saved and he plants doubt in others about their salvation. We can rejoice in our assurance of salvation according to God’s Word and humbly and lovingly serve Him for all He’s done for us. We do not have to turn out to be lukewarm or lazy, knowing the marvelous work that our God has done. Just because there will always be the majority who will take the broad road of destruction, doesn’t mean that we cannot be assured. Let’s see what God’s Word says.
First, God says so–Rom. 10:9-13. Of course, this means with our hearts and God knows who is sincere and who is not. Second, the Holy Spirit bears witness within us–Rom. 8:16a–The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. Third, We have love for our brothers and sisters–1 John 3:14–We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. Let’s also remember that God chose those who are truly His, we did not choose Him. John 15:16. Ask yourself, what does Rom. 8:35-39 mean? As well, God is righteous and as a righteous Person, He would keep His Word, that is, His promises. Those who are God’s true children will be kept by God’s graces and His ways all along the journey. What joy there is in true salvation and Jesus also said that He would never leave us nor forsake us. Working OUT your own salvation is certainly not the same as working in hopes that you will be saved! Phil. 2:12-13–Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Notice that Jan does not use vs. 13 which assures us of God’s faithful and continuous work in us.
There IS such a thing as a person not being a part of the church system, which is a substitute for Jesus Christ and also not believing in the Once saved, Always saved doctrine and living as you please, yet believing INTO Christ and being His habitation, trusting that He is leading and guiding and nourishing you with His Spirit and His Word to the very end.
1 John 5:13–These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
Now if and when we offend the Lord , we then have broken our fellowship with Him and have lost our joy, but HE is the WAY back. First, we confess our sins and His BLOOD cleanses us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:7, 9.
We are to continually feast on God’s Word. There are many vss. in both the OT and the NT that direct us to feed from God’s Word and with His Holy Spirit. And we can pray by pouring out our hearts, releasing what is inside of us and enjoying our God. And here we are fellowshipping with our Lord as well as one another once again.
1 Tim. 4:6–If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.
1 Tim. 1:10–For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine.

In a video he talked about the sins we must come against, but he did not tell the people that it is the BLOOD of Jesus Christ alone that will cleanse us of all our sins.

TEE SHIRTS-TEE SHIRTS! Notice Jan’s new tactic as he continues to press people to wear Jesus messages on their clothes! Anyone who emanates Jesus doesn’t have to wear these messages on their clothing, because the anointing exudes from their innermost beings thru to their souls and their bodies! Examples would be Leonard Ravenhill, Paris Reidhead, David Wilkerson, AW Tozer, Derek Prince , Carter Conlon, and so many more! So if we are to be led of God’s Holy Spirit as Jan has stated and the Bible tells us, then why would Jan continue to press others to do as he is doing with the words on his tee shirts?!
Just in case someone may not read the report above, I think it’s important to take a look at Jan’s beliefs regarding sickness which he says that God gives to him to chastize him.

I’d like to address the CELL PHONE SCENARIO that Jan introduced recently. Jan opens up his blogtv hour with himself talking on the cell phone, supposedly sharing the gospel with someone else on the other end. Then he supposedly ends the call so that he can begin his blogtv program. Just another of Jan’s ideas, but he does not have to talk about it as though others ought to do the same thing. In the first place, what seems to be a clever idea is nothing more or less than a LIE, since it is all a PRETENSE! Yet this is what he is teaching his followers to do, in essence, is to LIE. Where is the love of the truth even in this situation?

In a previous video Jan talked about not being able to touch the Spirit by asking his viewers a question. “How can you feel spirit?” He was clearly mocking anyone who would testify to feeling the Spirit of God. But today (5/22/11) he says he felt the touch of Jesus on his shoulder. But wait, isn’t Jesus Christ Spirit?! This statement of Jan’s is just another contradictory one along w/ many, many others!!!

June, 2011–Jan Boshoff has now decided to TURN TO THE SCRIPTURES which is contradictory to all that he professed and proclaimed in his earlier videos. He’s obviously trying to cover his tracks!!! He has also removed some of his former videos rather than repenting for the messages he gave in them.
One of the REMOVED videos is “America Has No Christians” which Jan claims was a message he was given by the Lord! This is a very grave matter! Actually, it’s a false accusation against the LORD. The gender of the word JUSTICE is female, which is interesting, because through my research of false prophets and teachers I come across one continual theme: goddess worship.
