THE SPIRIT OF THE LION

I saw Jesus standing in the center of a circle of dark evil spirits. Those dark shadows encircled Him and it reminded me of how the mist of darkness is ever ready to show up around me and around God’s children~either ready to attack or planning the next strategy, if not in actual attack. How they hate Jesus and us~for we are the children of God. They only “love” darkness! “Slap them down”, I heard myself say in righteous indignation. I, as the onlooker, said this as if it were a command to Jesus, but really it was HIS command IN me. I was to act in the Word of His authority, in power, with the Spirit of the Lion! Immediately, without delay, Jesus, with one swift hand, slapped them all down as they encircled Him. He put them to an open shame and He is our example. They all lay flat on their backs after Jesus slapped them all down and they stayed down! This is our inheritance~to have authority over the evil spirits and to command them to be gone from our presence!

Luke 10:19-20–Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Ephes. 6:11-12–Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

YOU ARE IMPORTANT

…Child, I want to speak. Take up the pen and write. I have longed to communicate. Do not believe the devil when he tells you lies about your unimportance. All of My children, and I say all, are important. Otherwise, how could I have died for you and all of My little ones. What a great sacrifice I have made and yet the tormentor~the liar, would choose to lie to My children for he is full, yes, full of darkness, full of hate, full of despair himself and seeks to fill others~My children, with his own darkness.

Seek to be filled with more and more of My Light~Me~your Beloved, and then you will be filled less and less with his darkness and his lies. Yea, you are important to Me and so are all of My children. Rebuke his lies instantly~all of them! Do not listen to them!

Ephesians 6:16–Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

BE SET FREE

O My people, My people, know you not that I yearn to set your spirits free? And how can you have victory over the devil unless your spirits are free and how can you praise and worship Me unless your spirits are set free? I AM the LIFE and the RESURRECTION. The Beginning and the End and I came~I come, to set you free! (at a meeting)

2 Cor. 3:7–Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

John 8:36–If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Rom. 6:18–Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

Gal. 5:1–Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Rom. 8:2–For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

THE LESSON OF THE DOVE

In the past when the weather was very pleasant, I placed a bell of seeds underneath our black walnut tree which was close by our house. There was a dove which had been staying around here everyday in the yard and he approached the bell and was eating for almost two hours undisturbed. I couldn’t help watching him and feeling this wonderful happiness within because this dove was so contented as he was enjoying his food. Finally Lisa, our dog, walked near the bird. Actually, she crept like she wasn’t going to disturb the dove at all and then all of a sudden she scared the bird away. Then my heart was upset at the dog and sad for the bird even though I knew that Lisa was just following her animal instincts. This, My Jesus used to teach me a good lesson. Here is the analogy.

I am the dove eating of the Lord in sweet communion and of His Word, undisturbed. Along comes an evil spirit to disturb me and scare me away. Jesus is the Onlooker on this scene, as He sees and knows all things. His heart becomes angry at the evil spirit and He is sad for me.

He taught me to be at one with Him by exercising my authority and power daily against the evil spirits. Then I will be in fellowship with Jesus once again. Then He won’t be sad and I will continue to desire and pursue Him.

TRUTH BY SUFFERINGS

While I was seeking the Lord for truth, I saw the word “truth” in blood. The word “truth” was also dripping from the blood. I waited and as I thought on this vision and the meaning of it, the Holy Spirit made me to understand that the truth Jesus came to give us was bought with His Life Blood and Sufferings. We too, must come thru sufferings and trials and sorrows to come to a knowledge of the truth. Only as we receive Jesus’ pure words of truth can we then feed others. We receive the truth which is as sweet as honey and then when we eat it we taste the bitter taste with our sufferings.

Revelation 10:9-10–And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.

BY THE FAITH OF THE SON OF GOD

By the faith of the Son of God~that is your key~not your faith~not yourself with all it’s weaknesses and corrupt and poisoned nature, but My faith. And it is in My faith that you shall arise and overcome the evil one, and seek My Face, and find me, and do it early and continuously in all things. Overcome~never stop! Yea, the evil one is as a roaring lion seeking to devour you and your own loved ones, but I AM greater! Remember, I AM greater and I have overcome him~that evil, wicked one. Never give up~never stop discerning and rebuking him IN MY FAITH.

2 Corinthians 5:7–For we walk by faith, not by sight.

Ephes. 2:8-9–For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast.

MINISTER UNTO ME

Minister unto Me and I will minister unto you. Draw nigh unto Me even yet and I will draw even more nigh unto you. I long to shower you with overflowing love~yea, envelop you. You need to seek My personal love for each one of you. Therein lies the key to bring you thru all of your trials~your hard and sorrowful places. Thus saith the Lord. (this word was given at a meeting)

At the meeting, as we sang “Draw Me, we will run after Thee…” I saw Jesus and I together. As His little girl, I was running after Him as He ran before me. I could tell He enjoyed this ‘game’ as one who would want to be pursued or just enjoy being run after in the pleasure of joy. If Jesus enjoys being run after and He knows how to receive our love in perfection~we also can enjoy it when others want Jesus in us as we give His love to them. As well, we can receive that love from others. It all goes back to Him! Then Jesus laughingly turned around and picked me up, then joyfully swung me around up in the air, just like a loving Daddy would do with his little girl. Oh, how glorious, how wonderful to be with Jesus! I love Him so!

Also, as the words of prophecy came forth, I saw jesus in His lovely white robe with a smile on His face, standing before one of His children. His arms lifted up and then waved in a motion as if to surround and envelop this child of His in love.

James 4:8a–Draw nigh unto God and He will draw nigh unto you.

Song of Songs 1:4–Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.

Phil. 4:4–Rejoice in the Lord always; and again I say, Rejoice.

WHAT I PRIZE~THE TRUTH~by WATCHMAN NEE

3 John 3, 4–For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

Every worker of the Lord must uphold the absoluteness of the truth. This is possible only when a man is delivered from himself. Many brothers and sisters are not absolute for the truth; they are affected by people, things, and personal feelings. If a man is not absolute to the truth, he will, in the course of his work, sacrifice God’s truth for man, himself, or his own desires. A basic requirement for being a servant of the Lord is to not sacrifice the truth. We can sacrifice ourselves and our desires, but we can never sacrifice the truth.

The truth is always absolute. God wants us to uphold the absoluteness of the truth. If God’s Word says something, it is so, no matter who is involved. We cannot make exceptions just because of some special relationships. If we do, we are lowering the standard of God’s truth. I am not talking about speaking untruths; I am talking about sacrificing the absoluteness of the truth. We cannot forfeit its absoluteness just because someone is our relative. (my note~or a leader) We are here to follow the truth, not man, and we are here to maintain the absoluteness of the truth.

What does it mean to be absolute to the truth? It means to set aside feelings, to ignore personal relationships, and to not stand for the self. The truth is absolute. Our personal feelings, relationships, experiences, and encounters should not be mixed up with it. Since truth is absolute, what is right is right and what is wrong is wrong. (Watchman Nee, “The Character of the Lord’s Worker”, pp. 151-54)

PURGING

…Trust Me and obey Me. Accept you sufferings. I will give you more, but remember that I won’t give you anymore than you can truly bear~for My Sake. I know you don’t want one drop of My Blood to be wasted or in vain, child. It blesses Me to think about that~how you want Me to be happy about My sacrifice for you~how you’re unhappy about all your failures, but turn to Me in your failures, child, and I will bless you richly and abundantly. (Try not to worry about your children). Remember that I’m with them wherever they go, wherever they are. (He whispered, ‘I love you’).

BE STILL AND KNOW

As I entered the inner court today I concentrated on the scripture (prompted by the Holy Spirit) “Be still and know that I am God” and as I did so I realized that in experience I was to really know that He is God. I was also thinking about how He knows and understands what my spirit needs today and how I wanted Him to feed me whatever it was. He reminded me~He is God and God is Love. Therefore, as I experienced this knowing, rather than just knowing it to be a fact~I had NO FEAR of Him knowing all my thoughts, questions, sin problems, wondering and past failures, etc. I thought of how I would back off from another believer’s imperfect love if that person knew something more about my innermost being. But being in God’s Presence and His Love, there was no backing off from His searching, bright light which was continually searching me up and down to see and to know all~there was NO FEAR in me, for Perfect Love (Jesus) casts out all fear! Thank you, Jesus, My Beloved! I will walk in this love and I will share this, to please and obey you, so I won’t be polluted~to grow strong in the face of opposition!
