Many are the distractions, many are the distractions to My people, to My children who are on the broad way. For on the broad way there is much room to do innumerable things~~to turn to the left and to the right, to speak much with multiple others, to have discourse about various things, consuming the time and wasting the time instead of spending time with Me and waiting before Me. Seemingly, the distractions appear to be good~~a good thing, even an honorable, virtuous work, but it is nothing more than a waste of time and a subtle deception of the enemy. Contrarily, on the narrow road~on the narrow way, there is neither room to turn to the left or to the right, but only room enough to go straight ahead. There is no room to turn to the left or to the right!!! There is only room for inner strength and an operating mind to be strict~to be exact~to be holy~to be pure~to be zealous in being committed to the Lord, not to others, not to the attractions and pulls and desires of either ourselves or others, but to the desire of the Lord unto His good pleasure.
I saw in the spirit two different paths. One was narrow and the other was very wide and broad. There was one person on the narrow path and this person had no space to do anything else but to move forward with his face set as a flint, with love for God, with determination, with effort, with a single eye, with self-denial, with the path of the cross, with passion, with a commitment to the Lord and all by His grace. This way seems hard, but it is the satisfying way, both for the disciple and for the Lord.
I saw a multitude of people on the broad way and they had much room to move around in all directions and seemed to have no awareness of the Lord, neither committal to Him or of the preciousness of time or of the danger they were in or any such serious matter. Neither did they have the single eye or intensity for the Living God as they were not even aware of Him. Their concentration seemed to be on one another and the pleasure they were in with their own selves and they were excited all the time and very busy with their talk and their plans and their christian work. In this, they felt secure! This appears exciting and properly active (and in the flesh, it is), but it is really dissatisfying both to the inner man of these people and especially to the Lord of lords, who suffered and died for all these who are on the broad way that leads to destruction.
(my note here–Truly, this organized broad way is the hiding place of Satan himself, luring God’s children into all manner of deceptive lies and entertainments and foul music, even rock music, which I believe is a mockery of the very ROCK who is Christ, all under the umbrella of religion, which has nothing to do with the Our Lord and Savior, our King!)
Mat. 7:13-14 –Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Mat. 7:21-23 –Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
